Death of Mrs. Tordoff—One of therdoneers of Linn county passed away late ‘Wednesday afternoon at her home in Clinton township in the person of airs. Em dine Tordoff. Over forty-five years ago Mrs. Tordoff came to Linn county-with her husband and settled on the same farm which has been her home ever since and where she passed away. Mrs. Tordoff was very aged* and had been extremely infirm for some time, but Tuesday afternoon, just after dinner she was seized with an attack of paralysis, and this resulted in her death a little before fl o’clock ived-| nesduy evening. The Rev. Levi Stauf-^ faciler will conduct the funeral services which will be held Friday sifter noon, and to which all friends of the deceased are invited. Mrs. Tordoff was born in 'Windsor, Vermont, and is survived by ibe following: children: W. c.Langston, a son hy her first marriage; Mrs. Sarah Perry, of Itifion Glenn, X. V.; Henry Tordoff and Albert Tordoff of Alien. Iowa, and Mrs. Emma Hay of Palo, Iowa.» Mrs. Tordoff s husband the late Jas. Tordoff, ided sixteen years since. She was a woman of homely' virtues and respected and‘honored hy her friends and acquaintances. The funeral will bo held nt 1:20 o’clock Friday afternoon at Sicily's Grove.
