It was my first time seeing a monster truck that close.”“See this helmet?” Miller asked. “I wear this to protect my head every time I get into my truck. Buckling your seat belt should be the first thing you do when you get in your car. And tell your parents to do the same.”The kids, ages 6-13, then had the opportunity for autographs and an up-close look at the futuristiclaw enforcement-inspiredmonster truck, which can be seen at the Monster Jam engagements on Saturday and Feb. 8 at AngelStadium.“This is a great way to reach out to the kids in the Anaheim community,” Hernandez said. “And with a monster truck as an example, the message of wearing seat belts and safety gear really hits ahome run with everyone.”- Jennifer Becker is a communications consultant in Orange County.
