Anthony C. Smith Sr.Anthony C. Smith Sr., a resident of Ford Heights, died Friday, Jan. 14, at home.Services were Wednesday at Christ for Everyone Church, Ford Heights, with Elder Kenneth Franklin Sr. officiating. Interment was in Mount Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood.Mr, Smith was born July 18, 1912, in Byhalia, Miss.He is survived by his wife, Nadie; five daughters, Evelyn Piper Scoggins, Betty Wiley, Lynda Taylor, Alma Louise Bell and Cheryl Smith; seven sons, Da vid Hayes, Albert Edward, Anthony Jr., John Calvin, Tommy, Charles and Darryl; three sisters, Alma Jeans of Ford Heights, Hattie White of Harvey, and Willie B. of Battle Creek, Mich.; a brother, Lehman of Chicago; 44 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren.
