Sarasota, Florida, January UthThe ceremony was performed at 11 a.m. in the St. Augustine Catholic Church with a Nuptial Mass celebrated by Father Eugene Klug, the ..astor.Vases of white chrysanthemums and pompons decorated the church and the traditional wedding music was played bv Mrs. Martna Cole at the organ.Given in marriage by her father, the bride was radiant in a full length gown of silk organza and Alecon Lace with a fitted bodice and designed w i t h a scooped neckline, long tapered sleeves and an Empire waistline encircled with lace. The skirt was A-lined and the Watteautrain was hand appliqued in the matching lace.Her shoulder length veil was of silk illusion gathered around a two tiered seeded pearl crownA pearl necklace, a special gift from her aunt, Mrs. Ethel Duffy of Dania, Florida, and a white Bible topped with a white orchid completed her attire.Miss Kathleen Anne Duffy, sister of the bride was Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Kathleen S. Duffy of Dayton, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Anne Gatski and Miss Elizabeth Cassell, Grafton, friends of the bride.The Maid of Honor wore a light blue taffeta full length gown with a scooped neckline, long sleeves and a bow accenting the Empire waist. Her head piece was a bow with a white veil and she carried a bouquet of pink carnations.The bridesmaids gowns and headpieces of Sapphire Blue, were the same in design as those of the Maid of Honor and they also carried bouquets of pink carnations.Bernard L. Duffy Jr., of Dayton, Ohio, brother of the bridlt;*. was best man. Ushers were Paul Black, Cincinnati. Ohio, uncle of the groom, Charles Mewshaw and James Reed of Grafton, friends of the groom.
