By JOHN LYONS Advocate Sports Editor BLOOMINGTON, Jan. 22 Three clatch baskets in the last period by Rogue Estrada sparked the Bloomington TBobcats to a thrilling 45-41 basketball victory over the Weimar Wildcats in District 30-A game here tonight. He scored to provide the home team with a 39-35 edge and then after Weimar had tied the score for the tenth time at 39-39, he hit again with less than two minutes to play. No free shots by big Ernest Rundzieher was matched by a basket from Jimmy Stech but Rogue iced the decision with a goal as 30 seconds of playing time remained. Estrada made only four baskets during the game but was an im portant contribution. His first basket provided Bloomington with a 9-8 lead. In the ding-dong, nip-and-tuck struggle, Bloomington was in front 12 times and Weimar was on top four times. The score was tied at 2, 4, 9, and 11 in the first half: 19, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 39 in the second half, as Bloomington’s biggest lead was at 19-13 and Weimar’s widest margin was by two points. Rundzieher was top scorer in the game with 21 points on seven field goals, seven free throws. Jimmy Stech, a fine rebounder, paced Bloomington with 16 on eight field goals. The Bobcats,who now stand at 2-2 in the District, play Halletts ville here Friday. The defeat was Weimar's third in four games.
