' Shakespeare wrote a pity in which twins caused a comedy of errors. In Ihllon we have two men'with the same names who are beginning tq think Shakespeare' got his.diea from them, although Bill has been under ground for a long/time.Our local men are George Melton, and George Melton, no re-fhitidni^but t\yo separate individuals.. Can-you figure out from this which is which? Their friends ■ couldn’t and that started the com-» edy of errors.-•BOtjiiuapi jo aeodjcnd spun tion, we’ll say one is our Beaver.- head county representative, whom we’ll call “old George,” although his beaming and benign physiognomy belies the cognomen. We’ll call the other young George,” for the sake of distinction.Now,.yopng George recently returned from California and at the same time old George went to California. The events were prompt ly heralded in the press to the confusion of everyone who couldn't imagine how it was possible for George Melton to both come and go to California at one and the same time. »Next young George was taken ill and went to the hospital. This was duly announced and immediately old George was the recipient of flowers and messages of 'cheer while young George was doing the suffering. But the crowning comedy of errors occured when a daintily scented letter on blue stationery arrived at old George’s home while he was away. Mrs. Melton decided old George was doing all right by himself in California. Young George, we should add, is not married. The last seen of old George and young George they were on their way to the postoffice to get one mail box and do the sorting themselves.
