PIONEER JOHNSONCOUNTY MAN DIESAT HOME IN SOLONJoseph Shebetka, 79, pioneer resident of Johnson county, died at his home at Solon Saturday. He was stricken by apoplexy while in the kitchen and death was immediate.Mr. Shebetka, born in Bohemia, came to America with his parents when he was 19 years old. They settled in Johnson county where he had lived since. For the last twelve years he had made his home in Solon. Besides his widow he is survived by nine children: Rudolph, of Sleepy Eye, Minn.; Louis of Solon; William, of Oxford; Martin, of Oxford; Frank, at home; Mrs. William Marek, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Paul Swenka, North Liberty; Mrs. Frank Swenka, of Ely, and Mrs, Emma Panzer of Solon.* He also leaves two brothers, Frank and Wesley Shebetka, both of Swisher and a sister, Mrs. V. Shupiter, of Vail.Funeral services were held in the family home in Solon at 1 p, m, Monday. Burial was made in Oak Hill cemetery, near Solon.
