p-Another Seizure.—The scizuro of wins- , ky and distilleries is a paying scurco of , amusement these times. The Sheibyville c disiilery and two barrels of liquid came very lt;near going up this week. Some gentlemen Noticed a couple of strongly hooped barrels being conveyed from a gentleman s yard to ( the stable of one of the proprietors of tho t distillery. Visions of a nice thing in the 1 way ol informers fees floated before their 1 ‘eyes. The deputy collector was seat for— 1 the suspicious barrels looked up and seized, i They were brought up to the Public Square . : and the bungs knocked outr whonlo! the I rr vision of seizure, fees, c. vanished. They oontained neither high wines nor whisky—■ but cherry bounce. Tho owner of the bounce i was out of town at Ibe time, or there might ! have been more fun.
