Katie Walker Riley \OAK HILL — Mrs. KatieWalker Ri- \ ley, 100, ofOak Hill, ,WV, for- ]merly of Beckley, died Saturday, January19, 2013.Bora January 14, 1913, in Wald-ford, WV, she was the daughter of the late Tillis and Ethel Haynes Walker.Answering the call to ministry, she ministered at New Bethel Temple, andlater became a member atSky Baptist Church, Beckley.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands,Charles Mattox and James Riley; two sons, Curtis and Charles Mattox; sister, Myrtle Smallwood; andbrother, Herbert Walker.Left to cherish her memories are daughter, Belinda Bradford of Grand Prairie, TX; son, James Simon ofYoungstown, Ohio; stepson, Alfonso Simon of North Carolina; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, January24, 2013, at Sky Baptist Church, 815 So. Fayette St., Beckley, with Rev. William Fruit offici ating. Burial will follow m Greenwood Memorial Park, Beckley.
