Doings of the Tintic Police CourtsI I II I 1Deputy Sheriff Jerry Sullivan had t City Marshal Church of Eureka ar a lively time of it at Mammoth last rested Frank Sholta on Monday for Friday night when he made several poddling clothing without a licenseR II Norton one of the The man had about four pairs of.arrestsdisturbers of the peace and quiet ofthe neighborhood near Hassell s ealoon and opera house put up a fightwhen arrested and had two charges lodged against him When he appeared before Justice Moyle on Mondayhe was allowed to plead guilty to re eisting arrest the charge of disturb ing the peace being dismissed He was fined $50 which amount was paid Charlie Walsch bartender at Hassell $ saloon was also fln*d $10 on Monday for rapping Julius Kraus over the head with a gun Kraus was arrested at the same time but asked for a change of venue from the Mammoth court His case was heard before JudgeLindsay of Eureka on Tuesday and although he was found guilty no finethe courtbeing of the opinion that his injuries were sufficient punishment Attor ney Pike defended Kraus and countyAttorney Foote handled the prosecutionwas assessed against himtrousers m Ins possession and the Marshal was of the opinion that the goods had been stolen from some of the stores Mr Church commumca ted with the officers m several near by cities and failing to learn anything was forced to turn the prisoner loose upon receiving his promise to leavetownIlenry Foster Smd Robert Doylu were arrested at Silver City for attempting to roll } an old man who was asleep in a chair at the Bank Saloon They appeared before Judge Thornberg at Silver City on Monday and were held to the district court Their bonds were fixed at $500 each and being unable to raisethat amount they will remain m jail until theircase is ready for trial m the districtcourt
