DIED.In Postville, on Saturday morning, Jan. 17, at the residence of his Bon m-law, Thomas Miller, Hon. John T. Clark, in the seventy-third year of his age.Mr. Clark was one of the oldest and most highly respootod residents of Allamakee county, and for many years the acknowledged leader of tho legal profession of his district. He was a member of the territorial legislature of Iowa whon tho constitution was adopted, and has filled most creditably a number of official positions, although bis inclination naturally caused him to shun all political preferment and public notorie ty. Although better known as an old resident of Waukon, tho deceased has been a loading member of Post ville society for the past four or live years.The funeral was hold from the house on Sunday afternoon, and was attened by a large coucource of friends.
