MRS. LOUISE HOVADIKFuneral services for Louise Hovadik, 84, of Caldwell who died Sunday afternoon January 10 in a Houston Hospital were held at 9 A.M. Wednesday, January 13 in St. Mary'sCath-olic Church following a 8:40 A.M. prayer service in the Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home.The Reverend V. A. Svrcek of St. Mary's officiated and burial was in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.A rosary was recited at 7:30 P.M. Tuesday led by Ben Kocurek in the Chapel of Phillips and Luckey.Mrs. Hovadik was born in Vezoreiea, Austria, January 23, 1886. She had been a resident of Burleson County since a young girl. She was married to Rudolph Hovadik in 1907. He preceded her in death in 1922. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and member of the Rosary Society and K. J. Z. T.Survivors include two sons: Oscar Hovadik of Houston and Leo Hovadik of Caldwell, three grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren, one brother: Robert Bayer of Deanville, three sisters: Mrs. Joe Hovadik of Fayetteville, Mrs. Joe Paukert of Houston and Mrs. August Kubena of Dime Box.Serving as pall bearers were: Frank J. Kubena, Eugene E. Kubena, L. J. Milkula, Alfred Roska, Frank J. Marek, and Jim Bayer.
