New Orleans Suspects Link ed With New York NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 20 FL. J. Skelly Wright, assistant United States attorney, said today the federal grand jury returned Indict ments against 15 persons accused of being members of a narcotics ring that had contacts with the recent million-dollar ring smashed in New York City, where 48 per sons were indicted. Wright said indictments named Joseph Bonura, already under 7,000 bond in another narcotics case, and red-haired Thelma Bel gom among the 15 defendants and charged that the ring sold or de livered to Federal agents about $9,000 worth of narcotics from August to December, 1938. The attorney said the Indict ments also named John Vendemic as Eastern contact man and charged that he used Bay St. Louis, Miss., 60 miles east of New Orleans, as the place for departure and arrival on train trips to New York. The others named in the indict ments were Peter Ysasi, James Sansone, Milton Andry, Walter Andry, Victor Michel, Vincent caminita, Albert Douchein, Guy Roux, Edward Coyle, Edward Gil vert, Andrew Gyumpre and Harold Condift.
