COMMUNITY H. S. PLAN CARRIESCrab Orchard School District Favors New Plant By Majority of 130 Votes.At the special election held at Crab Orchard on Saturday by the proposition to form a Community High School District was carried by a majority of 130. This plan is one which forms a new high school district embracing all of Crab Orchard township and the cast half of East Marion township.This will give the new district a large section to draw from and make it one of the best community high schools in this section.The present Crab Orchard High Schol is one which has had only the town itself as its district but many from the outside have attended there. Prof. Lyman E. Davis is the principal and the new district was formed thru his efforts and the vote come as an endorsement of his administration of the school.
