The plant being completed on the 15th day of October, 1890, the company commenced business with less than 60 patrons, now it has 07, being all that could be taken on the present switch board. The company has aereral more applications for phones which could not be accommodated, so it was decided to increase the size of the plant and an additional 50 drop switch board has been ordered and will be put in before the first of the mouth. The ' company have been rery anxious to make it a first class plant in every particular aud none but the best of i material has beeu need, and it feels I thankful for the patronage exteud-i ed It by the ciu?t*»* of mpoleon. On. i the first day of February tin* fullcapacity of the plant will be 150phones. Those wishing to get onei will do well to send in their ordor: soon, as the additional 50 will all be ! taken before that time. Whether it will pay the company to go to the great expense of increasing the plant above the 150 is hardly probable.
