The samenoise was heard by Sheri AT Alien's wife, whoresides on the west suit of the Church.Alien and the man aforementioned both rrnout and discovered the First Baptist Churchto be on fire. The building is considerably damaged, but the main los* w ill be on the furniture, lt;cni s, car* pets, Sunday' school Library, c„ upon which there is no insurance. The entire loss will foot up about $2,000. of which amount $Sco i* covered oy insurance in the F. M and M. Insurance Company. The church has a large pipe ofiran, upon which there is an insurance of $300. The organ is some damaged, but to what extent is not yet known.
