I The Concerts given- by the Belleville band in the auditorium Thurs-, day afternoon and evening were well } attended .and gave great pleasure to i all who heard them. The local . band, which is juSt starting, also : received an impetus to learn to do , like wise. Miss Betty Correll, sister of Richard Correll, the band I leader, played .a trombone solo. Mr.* Westcott, of the Conn instrument campany, was present and gave a ' very interesting talk on bands and { their opportunities. He also had i band instruments on display and explained vaious points about them.i, -M. '----„ . L ■
