Under New Rule at TechnicalSchool All Students MustBeginning /With the new term, Feb. 3. Rose Polytechnic will adoptv tompulsory gymnasium votk. This rule was adoptedby the faculty end the order Announced by Dr. Mees yesterday. Coach Gilbert has outlined the work, which will be indoors until AprH 1 and outdoors after April 1 until Dec. 1. This compulsory gymnastic work was instigated by the student councilof the school, and then, put up to the faculty for consideration. TJif- faculty, after consulting ,\bith Coach Gilbert, thought itpractical and will put it In with the regular school work during school hmirs.Athletic Work Outlined.The gymnasium work will consist of calisthenics. volley tall, group games. maseWclass work, boxing, indoor baseball and handball. Athletics in the spring will he track work, tennis, football group games, etc; in the fall, football, both soccer and American, and tennis. Th**re will be inter-division competition whenever possible. Monthly meets will be held. Students w'ill be given individual attentionr whenever needed.Each of the folloi^ng divisions wi':I report twice a week for instruction: Freshmen class, section A and section B; sophomore class, section A and section B. and junior class, section A* and section B.
