F. Derr and wife, of your place, were the guests of Mr. Jerry Diefenderfer on Friday last. Mr. George Baer, of this place, hasentered the store of Josiah Baer, of Fre-donia, where he will be found behind the counter selling groceries, and dry | goods.Died: At the residence of Mr. George Beaver, in Hempfidd tp** Jan- 15th, 18S7, Mr. John Koser, aged 76 years 8 months and 11 days. Deceased was bonr In Perry county in 1810, A. D-, from whence he moved to Mifflin, county, and from there to Lawrence./county, .where he lived -20 years, and then moved to Mer-cer count)’, Whers.be died. He was upright and honest and tod many frierids and few enemies-. He lea ves a wife and seven drildren, two soni'and five daugh-ters to mourn his loss.
