The 1st Lieu* tenant, Lewis, is us brave and true n soldier as ever, fat and hearty, enjoying excellent health, and the idol of the company. Lieut. Ashley, our former Quartermaster's Sergeant, but lately promoted to 2d Lieutenant of Co. 11., is a fins fellow, good officer and well liked. Orderly Keeler is the same chap as usual; bo is now building a brick oven for the regiment to bake their own bread, thereby causing a great saving tn our favor. He is well and hearty.— Serg'U Paine, Blackman, Overton and Gregg are all well.
