Jello500 Sign PetitionAbout 500 Canyon residents have signed a petitionendorsing the reading of the first 12 versesof Genesis in the Bible and the prayer offered by the Apollo 8 astronauts.The petition was drawn up by the directors of the Canyon Chamber of Commerce Dec, *0.Roland Black said that he ho^ed to mail the petition to the director of the Space Center in Houston on or about Jan. 25.Anyone who would like to signthe petition may do so at theChamber of Commerce office, Blatk said. The i*tition will also be made available to any club or organization.He said that the Chamber of Commerce would like to have at least 1,000 signatures on the petition.
