LARNED, Kan. (UPI)—Her bert Mock of Hutchinson, who once told authorities he killed his wife and daughter because they were blackmailing him, must remain in the Larned State Hospital until he is declared sane and able to stand trial. The 41-year-old Mock is in a ward for the dangerously in sane. A three - doctor commission ruled Monday Mock was insane and incompetent to assist in his own defense in a murder trial. Reno County Atty. Richard Rome said the two first degree murder charges will stay on file. If Mock regains his sanity he will face trial.
