The club is rather young but the members are very active and a successful yeai Is looked forward to.Mrs. Walter Bloomfield, of South Bend, is a guest at the home of Mrs. Edward Wiltsee. We know the ladies are having a delightful visit talking over old times, for twelve years have slipped away since last they met.Mr. and Mrs. Mark A. Boss are leaving for St. Petersburg, Florida this week. They are trying a new venture and will drive through and with this mild weather the trip will be a pleasant one.Mrs. George Woodrieh was hostess to eight of her friends at a delightful luncheon on Tuesday.Mr. Henry Moecker, Jr., returned from the Ingalls Memoral hospital where he recently underwent an operation for appendicitis.The R. Benson Fishers, of Harvey and Flossmoor, are planning a trip to Florida. The health of Mr. Fisher is much improved and a trip to the sunny south will be of great benefit.Mr. and Mrs. John F. John Enslenger, aged 50 years, died at the Illinois Central hospital in Chicago after a month’s seige of pneumonia on Sunday evening, January 14. Mr. Enslenger formerly resided on Chicago road in Homewood and was well known here. He leaves a wife, two sons, George and Eugene, and a granddaughter to mourn his passing.
