A paragraph in the Spokesman-Review of Friday states that the Con-anian postal authorities are fumigating all mail originating at points between Nelson, H. O., and Republic, Wash., handled ny the C.P. R. This should road Nelson, Wash., instead of Nelson, R.C. Ouly from these points are the mails fumigated; that from Nelson, Ross land and Huundary points pass through without det' n-tion. Every precaution possible is taken with the mails from Fernie, the only Canadian point in H. C. at which n smallpox quarantine is considered necessary.
