Wanda Eloise Coats April 2, 1939 to January 5, 2006 Born in Shinwell, Oklahoma Funeral ser vices were con ducted by Peters Funeral Home. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Eloise Coats, beloved wife, mother, grand mother and great grandmother was held in Shafter at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness on Jan. 14. Eloise is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Bill Coats; daughters, Vickie Daniels, Sherry Burns, and Sheila Long; sons, Kirby, Tony, Kevin, Shannon and Jimmicon Coats. Mom loved shopping, cooking and taking care of her grandchil dren. She was taken from us sud denly and we will all miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, mother and two broth ers. Rex William Anders A graveside services was held for Rex Anders, 52,On Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at 1am, at Shafter Memorial Park. Pastor Pat Coyle of the Shafter Mennonite Brethren Church officiated. Rex passed away on Jan. 7, 2006 Rex was born in Portales Roosevelt, NM on July 15, 1953 to William and Jeraldine Anders. He came to Shafter in the late‘50s and attended the local schools. He worked various jobs in farm labor and tree trimming industry. He loved fishing. Rex is survived by wife, Pat Anders of Bakersfield; parents, Bill and wife, Thelma Anders of Shafter; daughter, Christina and husband, Terry Breedlove of Bakersfield; brother, James Anders of Shafter; sister, Janice Anders of Shafter; aunt, Mrs. Lester Anders, numerous grandchildren; nephews, Christopher and Brander Anders; best friend, Greg Childers.
