Seek nursery scholarshipsA benefit cocktail party to provide nursery school scholarships at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club, 5480 Kenwood, will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Yachnin, 5533 University, on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.Highlight of the evening will be a performance by Oscar Brown, Jr. and Luiz Henrique who starred in the widely acclaimed musical show, • Joy 66 at the Happy Medium Theater last year.The Hyde Park Neighborhood Club nursery school opened last fall with a faculty of three professionally trained nursery school teachers. It now has an enrollment of 25 children between the ages of 3 and 5. The school is in session Monday through Friday from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuition for the eight month school year is $320. In order to provide partial and full scholarship aid for children who could not otherwise attend, the parents of the students have planned this cocktail party as the kickoff event in their scholarship fund drive.A donation of $1.50 per person for the cocktail party includes buffet refreshments. Additional money will be raised by donations of 50£ for drinks.
