Barnhart, Gordon Conboy, William Prinz and Dr. G Robert Walker, are holdovers from the previous council. One of the three new members, Lou L. Heaton, has been in effect an ex-officio member of the council for the past four years. As Mayor of the city, Mr. Heaton has sat in on all council meetings to lend it the benefit of ^ws sage counselling at the same time becoming personally intimate with the problems of that body. The only tyros in city management are Mrs. William Lofroos and Howard Simpson and both of them have a working knowledge of city matters gained through long and active issociation with leading civic organizations. This is also true of Mayor Walter D. Patton Mr. Patton became active with civic organizationsimmediately upon his arrival in..Mount Dora. Since receiving of- ] ficial notification of his election L he has familiarized himself with1 all phases of his new duties through attendance at council meetings and weekly police court, and frequent consultations withoutgoing Mayor Heaton.In actions taken at its organization meeting January 10, the mayor and the council reappointed all city department heads within their scopes of appointive responsibilities to insure the continuance of experienced men to head the city's various administrative and technical departments.City Clerk Bill Stewart, who holds an elective office, has served in that capacity for 10years.James Cooper (Asistant Chi George E.
