Lucan.—Mr. and Mrs. Gust Sage entertained at a dinner Friday when their guests included Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hansen and family, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Aresow and family, Vernon Korman and Miss Bertha Dresow. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Patterson and son, Robert, visited at the Reed Nord meyer home at Lake Benton Sunday. Anton Macht was a business caller in Marshall Friday. Mrs. Paul Martin and Miss Vivian Jensen were callers at Redwood Fails Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Thuer (Chloris Kramer) of Springfield announced the birth of a daughter, Saturday, Jan uary 13. Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Krogstad vis ited relatives at Mankato Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Saelens and family of Revere visited at the paren tal John Zeug home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Albers and sons visited at the Louis Grams home Thursday. The Luther League of the Trinity Free church held its regular meeting Friday evening. Following the bus iness, as social hour was engaged, Mrs. Elmer Anderson of Tracy vis ited her sister, Mrs. L. C. Patterson, Monday. Miss Ila Mae Hausamann spent Saturday at the Ervin Bruns home. Mrs. Paul Martin entertained eight children Monday afternoon in honor of the fourth birthday of her daugh ter, Mavis. Mr. and Mrs. William Hansen and sons were Sunday dinner guests at the F. M. Anderson home. L. J. Anderson and Loren Timm were callers at Walnut Grove Mon day. DeLos Duel was taken to the Red wood Hospital Saturday and Sunday he was moved to the University hos pital, Minneapolis, for an operation. Earl Balfany and daughter, Jeanet te, were callers at the A. J. Balfany home at Wabasso. John Balfany of Wabasso was a caller here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jefferson of Mar shall visited at the William Haag home Monday evening. Mrs. Louis Grams entertained at two tables of five hundred Tuesday evening. Milton Jensen and Miss LaVon Grams visited at the Dr. E. H. John son home at Redwood Falls Wednes day evening. The Degree of Honor met Wednes day evening. Following the business meeting, new officers were installed. A social hour of card playing follow ed. F. A. Hagen was a business caller at Redwood Falls Wednesday. F. M. Anderson went to Mankato Tuesday where he will serve on the Federal Jury.
