The playground running up the great est number of points will also receive a trophy. Interest in Saturday's derby is keen. This year marks the first time that four individual playground races have been run off, and the list of entrants includes some of the star skaters at Oak Park. The four derbies, last Saturday brought out an entry list of several hundred boys and girls, and an audi ence that totalled about seven hundred. In spite of the cold weather, and the two large city derbies which were run off the same afternoon, there was no let-down either in interest among the spectators or in the number of en trants. At Stevenson alone it was ne cessary to run off a number of heats to care for the hundred or so entrants. For novelty features there were the obstacle races, in which the boys skated through barrells and the back ward skating; both events attracted applause and laughter. The events were run off in scheduled time, with the following young men and women in charge of the events: Stevenson, Ralph Moore, Miss Grace Lerch, 1st, M Judges, sneewe d JUNIOR GIRLS 50 Yard Dash arjorie panes in 2nd, Genevieve Potter Anderson, Horace Duke, Miss Esther Parris, 100th Tane, Miss Leona Riedy, Judges, John Armstrong, 1st, Marjorie Butler 2nd, Genevieve Potter Stanford Huseby. 3rd, Rosemary Finn Carroll, Edward Beranatie Mrs. Ralph Mills- 220 Yard Dash man; Judges, Werner Bezani, Robert Shep- 1st, Ruth Taneman . 2nd, Marjorie Butler herd, David Jones. 3rd, Rosemary Finn Eugene Field, Gordon Smith, Ray Hoffman, Daren Judges, Roy J Richter, Co.
