At the close of the business session, Mrs. James McDow-| ell with a few well chosen words in ; behalf of the fraternity, presented | Mrs. Steven Potter with a beautiful| traveling bag and umbrella as a token of respect and esteem for fifteen years of valuable service as president of the association. It proved a complete surprise to Mrs. Potter, and with the greatest difficulty she made her gratitude known.A delicious banquet was spread and the full house did ample justice to the meal, after which a program interspersing music and recitations was greatly enjoyed. Readings by Mrs. Minelli, Mrs. King and Mrs. Brehm wfere features of great delight. The musical numbers enter-J taining the company were rendered by Mrs. Schweitzer, Miss King and Miss Keefe. A grand march concluded the occasion and was led by Mrs. King and Mrs. Holzmiller.The officers installed were: President, Mrs. G. A. Stout; vice president, Mrs. H. E. Haas; recording secretary, Miss Anna Kraus; financial secretary, Miss Augusta Myer; treasurer, Mrs. Rhinehardt; monitor, Miss Minnie Enright; lady of ceremonies, Mrs. Anna Keefe; sentinel.
