Obituary.Clara A.Omstead was bora In La-Grange county, Ind., on August 9,. 1854. She spent her early years with her lather upon the farm and taught school for several terms. She was united io marriage to Edgar-Jen* nings on March 29,1879, and she resided with her husband on the home farm until tbotimeof her death, with the exception of three years spent in the hospital at Logaoeport. Her death occurred on Jan, 12, 1901, at the age of 40 years, 5 months and} 3 days. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, one son, two sisters aud four brothers. The funeral services were cunducted at Ap-plemanburg last Tuesday, the Rev. E, E. Neal, officiating, and the large company of friends present expressed great sympathy for (he family.
