AN OBITUAKY.Tribute of Prai»e for the Lute Mr*. Julia Meyer, of New Lenox, III.Mrs. Julia Meyer was born April 11. 1820, in Hitchourg, Sax Weimer. She was married in 1847 to Mr. August Wentzel, and in 1851 they came to this country, and the same year he died, leaving her a widbw with one daughter, now Rachel Brunner. In 1852 she was married to Mr. Conrad Meyer. He died Nov. 10, '1891.“Mother” Meyer was religiously raised in the Lutheran church. She loved the services of the house of God. She had much to bear, but bore it patiently. The cause of her death was a complication of diseases. She died at Newr Lenox, 111., Jan. 4. 1899, aged 78 years, 8 months and 22 days, leaving one son, three daughters, twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Funeral services were conducted by J. W. Mohr in New’ Lenox M. E. church. Burial in the Thompson cemetery.
