Fort Wayne police recruits ready to hit city streetsMembers of the 53rd Fort Wayne Police Department recruit class officially joined the department’s ranks at a graduation ceremony Jan. 12 at Nqrthside High School. This semester’s class contained 19 recruits who completed nearly 872 hours of training during the past 20 weeks. The ethnic make up of the recruit class includes one Asian woman and one black male.Recruits include David M. Boles, John A. Chambers, Alisia D. Chandler, Jonathan L. Cutler, Teresa L. Evangeldis, Craig R. Fairchild, Gary J. Hensler Jr., Troy W. Jester, Liza L. Keeney, Bobby L. Lemon, Angela M. Miller, Bri’an J. Miller, Brent A. Roddy, Daniel J. Royce, Benjamin A. Springer, Scotts C. Studebaker, Robin L. Thompson, Benjamin H. Truesdale and Keith W. Wallace.
