Jack Dent, at 200 pounds the All-State’s heaviest player and only junior, sparked Winfield to a 9-1 record and kicked 19 of 26 extra point attempts,The guards, Claredon Foutty ofPaden City, w'ere among the outstanding players in the tough Little Kanawha Conference. Foutty is a strapping six-footer rated a fine college prospect, while Straight packing 170 pounds on a 5-7 framewas a veritable chunk of dynamite all season.The All State center, James Sutton of Sistersville, never made a bad pass to the backfield all year.
