PerkinsSEABROOK —Alice Patricia “Garchi” (Kamon) Perkins, 83, died Jan. 9, 2007, at her home after a lengthy and heroic battle with cancer and respiratory disease.She was born Jan. 21,1923, the daughter of the late Andrew and Nellie Kamon, originally from Poland.Mrs. Perkins was employed part time at the Seabrook Greyhound Park.At the heart of her life was her family.She was a devoted housewife, mother and great cook.She especially liked to cook some of her special Polish recipes which everyone in the family loved.She enjoyed going to yard sales, and in the past, traveling to Myrtle Beach and Florida with her husband and children. She was known for driving her little red pickup truck to and from work.She is survived bv herwhusband of 65 years, Corydon F. Perkins Sr.: one son and his wife, Corydon F. and Barbara Perkins Jr.; three daughters, Joyce Addison and husband Gary, Patricia Perkinswand Candace Dow; 11 grandchildren, Jacqueline Pegram, Victoria Buttrick, Wendy Michaud, William R. Bowley Jr., Jason E. Bowley, Melissa A. LeBrun , MicahS. Addison, Alvah Dow V, Trina Small, Alison Dow and Matthew Perkins; 18 great-grandchildren; one sister, Freda Fowler and her husband, Jacob, of Seabrook; and many nieces and nephews.Private funeral services and interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Arrangements were by Elliott, Woodworth Rogers Family Funeral Home, Newburyport, Mass.Florence PettiboneEXETER — Florence (Todd) Gagliano Pettibone, 71, died Wednesday, Jan.10, 2007, at Eventide Home for Women, following a lengthy illness.She was born March 29, 1935, in North Adams, Mass., the daughter of William and Florence (Miller) Todd.She was educated in North Adams and was a graduate of the former St. Joseph High School and a 1955 graduate of the former St. Luke’s Nursing School in Pittsfield, Mass.Mrs. Pettibone was a medical surgical nurse at North Adams Regional Hospital. She had previously worked in pediatric nursing for many years and as an industrial nurse for Sprague Electric Co.She is survived by one son and his wife, Todd and Christine Gagliano; one daughter and her husband, Lisa (Gagliano) and David Harris; one stepson and his wife, Robert and Tacy Pettibone; three grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony and Isabella; one sister, Agnes O’Grady; one sister-in-law, Jeanne Todd; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Gagliano, who died in 1975; her second husband, Robert A. Pettibone, who died in 1979; and two brothers, lames Todd and Augustus Todd.A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday in St. Anthony of Padua Church, North Adams.
