That’s really news, we feci.Although Goodinun has just organized his new band, it bids fair to challenge the laurels of the old Goodman outfit which is generally considered one of the great bands of all time. In his now venture, Benny has hud the daring to mix both white and black musicians in the same outfit, and the result is a certain indefinable smoothness in his swing.A good turnout to see the King of Swing will probably indicate to the powers operating the State theater, that good bands can always draw in Ea.«ton. A good showing will probably result in further bookings of America’s best music.
