—The JackBOQ county breeders’ association met in the county clerk's office, on Saturday, pursuant to adjournment. The meeting was called to or ler by Mr. C. Pugsley, temporary president ot the association, The minutes ot the previous ineetiug were read by the secretary and approved by the organization. Fine Btock talk was then indulged in tor a short time, and the president then stated the object of the meeting, which was to elect officers ter the ensuing fiscal year of 1877. On motion, the organization voted by ballot. For president, Mr. (J. Pugs-ley was elected; Mr. .17. W. Anderson was elected treasurer, and Mr. A. J. Powell secretary In the same manner- The following gecdemen w-ero elected directors: C. Pugsley, Neal Chiles,H. C. Chiles, I.. P. Williamson, . Jacob Vernon, Jacob Powell, Isaac H. B.acka-day and H. M. Vail. The officers being elected, the secretary stated that the charter for a joint stock company had arrived. Gn motion it was ordered recorded. Some other points were canvassed upon, when the meeting adjourned until Saturday, January 27fcii.
