D., 1867, of the Court of Common Pleas, within and for the County of Clinton and State of Ohio, and to me directed, 1 will offer for sale at public auction, at the door of the Court House, in Wilmington, Ohio, on Monday, the 17th day of February, A. D.,.1868, between the hours of 10 o’clock, A. M. and 4 o’clock,P. M., of said day, the following rea estate, situate in the county of Clinton on State of Ohio, towit: Bounded and described as follows: Being part of survey No. 730, be inning at a stake in the turnpike road leading remree to Sabina, southerly come to David Holly and John Holly, where a jack oak, 6 inches in diameter, bears N 32 deg W ‘59'S links; thence with S W link of David and John Holly's; thence N 531g W 627-10 poles to a stake in David and John Holly's line, east ‘corner of said grave yard, where a sassafras, 9 inches bears 19 deg W 62g links; thence with the line of the grave-yard 335%g deg W.391¢ poles to a stake corner to the grave-yard, whe n sherry corner 11] inches and hickory 12 inches $53 deg W 105 links; thence S 1s W 542 poles to a stake, where a hickory, inches, bears S 37 deg W 21 links ; thence 8 42 deg 12 min E 46 93-100 poles to a stone in the center of the turnpike road ; thence along the road N 71'¢ deg E331, poles to the beginning, contain ing 7 acres of land. Also another tract or piece of land, situate in the county of Clinton and State of Ohio, bounded and described as fellows: Begin ning at David Holly's corner in Wellington W. Holly's line and near the C. W. Z. R. R. near at a stake where a maple 16 inches bears S 47 deg 30 min W 11 links: thence with said W. W. Hoelly’s line § 573, deg E 671g , cross ing said railroad to a sassafras, 10 inches in diameter, to a grave-yard,and with the same 4 poles to a stone corner to said grave-yard, 8 to a 7 acre lot, belonging to Nathan Perrill ; thence with his line the same course continued, 62 poled further, in all 133 7.10 poles to said Perrill’s corner, at a stake in the G. Wid C. turn pike road ; thence with it N 71 deg 30 E 104 poles to a stake in the middle of the said turn pike road ; thence N 43 deg W 165 poles to a stake where a jack oak 16 inches bears S 29 deg 30 min W 87 links to Perrill’s corner; thence with Perrill’s line S501 W 90 64-100 poles to a stake in David Holly s corner, where a hick ory 6 inches bears S71 deg E 27 links; thence with David Holly's line, the course continued, 40 4-10 ples, in all 131 poles to the first begin ning, containing 100 acres and 2100ds of land. Excepting out of the last described tract of land of 100 acres and 2 roads, the two following de scribed tracts of land, the first tract sold to George Wade, Jr.. Beginning at a stone in the west edge of a township road, where a jack oak, 18 inches in diameter bears N 32 deg W 5917 links, in the line of James Emmett’s land, an corner to George Wade, Sr.; thence with his line N 51 deg 23 W 8966-100 poles to a stake, where a hickory 10 inches bears S 7215 deg E 29 links, corner to the said George Wade, ve and in the line of James Wade's land; thence with his line S 42 deg 12 min W passing a stone in the line at 12 92-100 poles to a point in the center of the C. W. Z. Railroad track, corner to the said James Wade, and in the line of John Holly’s land ; thence with his line and the cen ter of said R.R. track S 70 deg E 97 24-100 les to a point in the center of said road. John Olly and James Davis , thence with his line and the westerly margin of the aforesaid town ship road N 42 E passing a stone in the line at 2 poles, passing the corner of James Davis.and James Emmett at 23 poles, 48 poles to the place of beginning, containing 17 51-100 acre of land. Also the following tract sold to James Wade : Beginning at a stone S corner to a tract of land owned by Jeptha Perrill, and E corner to a 65 acre tract sold by David Holly to the said James Wade, where a hickory 19 inches bears S 72he deg E 29 links ; thence S42 deg 12 EF 1437 pols to the center of the C.W. Z. R. Ri; thence with said railroad S71 deg W 43 poles to stake in the center of said railroad, and in the south east line of said 65 acre tract, 134 poles from the south corner of said tract; thence with the said south-east line of the said tract N 1 deg E 39 66-100 poles to the beginning, con taining 1 acre 3 roods,and 11 square poles of land, more or less. Subject to the dower es tate of the said Mary Holly, widow of the said John Holly, deceased, assigned by metes and bounds, and bounded and described as follows - Situate in the county of Clinton and State of Ohio, and being a part of survey No. 730, and further bounded and described as follows, viz. Beginning at a stone in the center of the Wash ington pike, corner to Charles Drake’s land , thence with his line and the center of said pike S72‘, deg W 8920-100 poles to a stake in the center of said pike in the line of said Drake's land, and corner to the heirs of John Holly de ceased ; thence with their line N 411¢ deg W 58 poles to a stake, corner to said heirs ; thence with their line N 725 deg E89 20-100 poles to a stake in the center of a county road ; thence with the center of said road S 411¢ deg E 58 poles to the beginning, containing 29 64-100 acres of land, be the same more or less. Appraised at $4,260 63. Terms—One-third on day of sale, one-third in one, and one-third in two years. The defer red payments to bear interest from day of sale.
