Murray, left Ascension, Oct. 7, for the Bights, to relieve the Hydra.— Lily, 16, Cora. Newton, at Ascension, ordered to Spithead.— Bittern, 16, sloop Commander Hope, at Congo.— Syren, 16, Commander Chaloner, is ordered from the Mediterranean to Ascension, to be under the orders of Sir C. Hotham.— Wanderer, 12, Commander Someiville, ordered to the Pongas, was off there Oct. 12, and expected to be at Sierra Leone in about a month.— Flying Fish, 12, Commander Dyke, Ascension.— Kingfisher, 12, Com. Horton, to supersedet Brown, arrived at St. Helena, July 12, for water, at Congo. Captain Horton within a fortnight of joining captured two slavers.— Contest, 12, comp. 110, Com. M'Murdo, was at Sierra Leone, Oct, 17th,— Waterwitch, 10, Commander Birch, at St. Helena, arrived Sept. 18, but had left again for her cruising ground.— Pantaloon, 10, Com. H. J. Douglas, in the Bight of Benin ordered to proceed to Bermuda.— Espoir, 8, Com. Hand, Ascension, at Benguela, is to be relieved by the Hound, and then to proceed to Devonport to be paid off.— Heroine, 6, Commander Edmunds, arrived at 8t.
