Sylvia Jeanine Scott 60, of Dayton, Texas passed away January 12, 2008 at her home. Sylvia was born on February 15, 1947 in Baytown, Texas to J.R. and Nelda McCauley. Sylvia has lived in Dayton for the past 12 years and had been married to her husband Terry Raymond Scott for the past 41 years. Sylvia loved to take care of all her animals and was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Sylvia was a very kind and caring woman who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents J.R. and Nelda McCauley, and her son Timothy Scott. She is survived by her husband Terry Scott, daughters; Lisa Smith and husband Rick, Christine High and husband Steven, Cynthia Scott and fiancé Trey Shockley, grandchildren; Rebecca Smith, Tyler Smith, Mckenna Patty and Faith Shockley, brothers; Davis McCauley, Troy McCauley and Stevie McCauley; and many other relatives and friends A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday January 15, 2008 from 6 to 9 pm at Pace Stancil Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 16, 2008 2 pm at the Pace Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas with burial fol lowing at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Pace Stancil Funeral Home 1304 N. Cleveland (HWY 321). Dayton, Texas (936)258-5300.
