Left For Fcuador.Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 14.—Thirty-six men left, here Sunday for Ecuador to serve as foremen, timekeepers, etc., for the James McDonald Contracting Co. in building 200 miles of railway from Guayaquil to Quito, over the Andes mountains. Mr. Me-WDonald says he now has at work5.000 Jamaicans and expects to take5.000 more men, mainly Italians, to work on the contract.
