I took out $300 worth of gold dust with my pocket knife. I have ' got 1 two twenty-five pound boxes full of gold dust, worth about $3,000; have got nuggets of gold, pure gold, as large as birds’ eggs. I sunk nine feet on the ledge, and took out tentons before I noticed the gold, and,therefore, blasted away several thousand dollars. I have $lt;;o,ooo in sight The country is crazy over it. There are clusters oCgold as big as dollars sticking all tnrough the ledge.
