the City Board of Health con vened yesterday, with several matters of public health receiv ing attention. The nearly annual spring hazards to public health created by White River flooding were discussed. Timely steps to remedy the situation were con sidered, ‘An increased incidence of mumps and old-fashioned meas les was noted during the past few weeks. A satisfactory im munization against old-fashioned measles is receiving increasing t uusage and acceptance. The fam ily physician may be consulted for further detail ‘ ‘The board urged city resident using well water to have the wa ter tested for contamination ev ery two years. The City Board of Health, located at 9th St. and Central Ave., will provide spe cial containers with instructions. for collection of the sample to be returned for the free test.
