cemetery, Willow Springs. Hirsch Memorial Chapel, Tinley Park, was in charge of arrangements.Mr. Sherman was bom Feb. 8, 1912 in Chicago and had lived in Tinley Park for the past 20 years. He was employed as a machinist at the American Can Company, Chicago.Surviving are his widow, Gertrude, one daughter,Trudie, a junior at Tinley Park High school; five sons, James, Tinley Park; John, Harvey; Edward, Christopher Jr., and David, all living at home; five brothers, Joseph and Robert of Chicago; Walter, Lombard;James and Richard of California; five grandchildren; and his stepmother, Mrs. Katherine Sherman of California.
