The fourth birthday of Clifton Walter Fewel, Ill, was prettily celebrated at a party at which his mother, Mrs. C. W. Fewel, Jr. was hostess Saturday afternoon from 3 to 5 o'clock. Outdoor games held the atten tion of the ten little guests und they were invited into the dining room where Clifton opened hi gifts after the children had sung the “Happy Birthday” song as it blew out the lights on the can dies that decorated an ornate cake. Each child was presented with an individual cake square holding a lighted candle. Mr. Fewel was assisted by Mrs. Don ald Olsen and Mrs. Claude Mar tin in serving ice cream with the cakes.
