‘Hats Off, Operetta Will Be At WhitehallWHITEHALL, Wis. —(Special)! —“Hats Off.” an operetta based on life in the navy, is being prepared by student* at ^ hitehall high school to be presented early in March. Co-directors are Miss Adeline Hanson, teacher of dramatics, and Miss Mary Reiter, music I instructor. Taking part in the production will be the Girls Glee Club, the Mixed chorus, and a cast from the high school at large.Semester examinations were given at Whitehall high on Jan. 13 and14. IAmong coming events, the spotlight is placed on the district basketball tournament to be held the last week in February.Arrangements are being made to place blackout curtains in the assembly room so that movies may be , shown there as well as in the grade ,hall.A new shipment of books arrived at the high school library on ( Jan. 5. To date this year 50 new volumes have been added. ; lt;
