Reedy Ellis TateOn Dec. 14th at 1:45 p.m., wag a gad hour for Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tate and family when the cold hand of death crept so softly into their home and took from them their son, Reedy Ellis.Reedy was born in 1909 and had lived around Lexington most of hiB life. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he was seen at every sermon until his health failed him.To know Reedy was to love him. Always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.Things are hard for us to understand when time comes for us to give up someone wc so dearly love, but we know that God doeth all things for the best. He giveth and he taketh away.Those who are left to mourn his passing are his mother and daddy, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tate, two brothers, Irby and Earl Tate, of Lexington; one sister. Mrs. Nellie Sission of Evansville, Ind., and his fiance. Miss Ellen McNeer of Lexington. and host of relatives and friends.A FRIEND.
