A. gymnasium, it has finally been decided not to have the formal opening until February 12. Waters. 0. P. Hanpt. Bertis McCormick and Dr. Eli Patterson of the Rose Polytechnic Mr. Patterson succeeds John Cook, who retired on account of being out of the city so much. Upon the announcement of the result of the election last night the regular monthly session of the directors began, and much important business was transacted.J. Smith Talley and John T. Beasley will have charge of securing prominent speakers for the formal opening while It. E. Randolph will make arrangements for the reception of visitors. R. L. Alder is to arrange the music.According to reports submitted last night it will be necessary for the Y. M. C. A. to raise at least $8,000 to pay for its new home. Added to the original contract price $14,864 for the now gymnasium are the following hills: Win.Spang, repairing the roof of main building. $74.04; D. W.
