I num. and 13 da \ s. She was united in marriage to Jonathan liarnard in I'nion county in 1830. They pitched their carup by an old log on the laud they entered in Carroll county one milt east of Mora, now owney by A J. Flora, and at whose residence she died. It was ihjI a very hearty welcomethey received in those early days in th« wilderness of northern Indiana, among the howling wolves and not a neighbor’* house for mil* *, but by persever-enee and self-denial they succeeded inaccumulating enough of this world’sgoods to live in comfort and happiness. Seven children were born to this tin loti, four of whom still survive; li. F. liarnard, J. M. Harnard, Lydia Shaf fer. and Sarah FloraHer husband departed this life in 186,1, and in 1885 she was again united in marriage to John Crull, who died In 1880. Then In 1882 she chose for her third companion Heil Hamilton, who still surqives her.She was united with the Dttnkard church in her younger days, and has always lived a devoted Christian life.She always had a pleasant smile and a kind word for everybody, and the poor aud needy never went empty handedfrom her door.She was a sister to Samuel Myer, deceased, and was the last surviving memter of a family of twelve childrenThe funeral was conducted at the Conservative church on Tuesday at 10o'clock, and a large concourse of relatives and friends turned out to pay their respects to the departed.
