In indicating their ac ceptance of the invitation, Mr. Mesh and Mr. Warner said 1972 probably would be the year of greatest need for financial support for Is rael. _ Because of the need for maximum defense expendi tures, Israel is increasingly dependent on the Israel Bond program for financing its economic development, as well as for creating job op portunities for tens of thou sands of new immigrants for Soviet Russia and other parts of the ‘world, they.. noted, They’ characterized « the growing exodus of Jews from Russia in recent months as a ‘‘miraculous opportunity’ to give a new life in Israel, where’ emigres can live as “‘free men and women.”’ The association is an in dependent, community based membership organization aimed at people serious in their interest in Israel.
